A current element Idz of unit amplitude 1 A-m in the z direction at the origin radiates at 300 MHz. The element is rotated, first about the x axis, then about the z axis, to show the Poynting vector magnitude in the x_y plane. dL and dA are positioned to show distribution and polarization of radiation. The total power radiated by the element is 395.4 W. The theta and phi components of the electromagnetic field along dL are computed and animated, and displayed numerically.
