Gain of Elementary Dipole

dA is positioned with respect to unit radiator Idz to find the maximum gain. dP, dA, and the total power radiated are integrated to find (dP/dA)/(Total_Power/(4*pi*Range^2), where dP is the power flux through dA, dA is the area of dA, Total_Power is the power, integrated at infinity, thrown off by the source, and range is the r coordinate of dA. dA is reduced incrementally to nearly zero to find the local directivity, theoretically 1.5 and confirmed in the limit. The distribution of radiation over dA, uniform for small dA, is animated. The total power radiated by the element as function of frequency is charted. The electromagnetic field in polar coordinates along dL of two wavelengths in length is animated.
